Psychology/Sociology
Program Description:
They will find that this is different from any of their other classes. This is because psychology and sociology is connected to both the social sciences, such as history or economics and chemistry. In sociology, we will explore the influences of society on individual behavior and group relationships. Psychology looks for biological explanations for human behavior.
WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN:
Students will learn about the diverse cultures that make up our growing society. It covers cultural diversity and conformity, social stratification, racial and ethnic interactions, the study of social life and more.
HIGH SCHOOL CREDITS AVAILABLE:
Students can earn five elective credits for each semester the course is completed.

Mr. Napier graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1989 and has been teaching at North High since 1991. As a graduate of North himself (class of 84) he loves teaching at North and giving back to the school that gave him so much as a teenager.
