Program Description

WELCOME TO THE CULINARY CLUB! 

The North High Culinary Club provides students the opportunity to learn both basic cooking and baking skills and specific cooking styles and techniques. Whether you aspire of being a professional chef or just want to learn how to cook and expand your taste buds to world cuisine, the Culinary Club is for you.

YOU’LL BE INTERESTED IN THIS CLUB IF YOU….

• Like to cook
• Like to bake
• Like to make new friends 
• Like being a team player and willing to participate in different club activities such as voting on the recipes  

EXPECTED COMMITMENT / MEETING FREQUENCY: 

MEMBERSHIP:

• Members must be students of North High School and participate biweekly in our meetings. You will be required to vote on specific recipes that you wish to make. 
• Members will be kicked out of the club if they do not participate, miss more than 3 meetings, or due to bullying or discrimination.

Meetings: Fridays at 6:00 pm. Please have your ingredients ready. 

MEET THE ADVISOR(S):

My name is Señorita Guzman (Miss. Guzman). This will be my 3rd year teaching Spanish at North High. I graduated from CSUB with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish.  I have a passion for teaching Spanish and helping my students learn the language. In addition, I love to cook and bake. Some of my other hobbies include yoga, watching movies, watching makeup tutorials, and listening to music.
