Program Mission Statement

"Building youth-adult partnerships for positive and healthy youth development which engage youth as active leaders and resources in their communities."

Overview

The Friday Night Live (FNL) program assists students who are interested in developing leadership skills foster a drug, tobacco and alcohol free lifestyle in their community. Students receive  training focused on public speaking, media awareness, environmental prevention and advocacy. Participants plan and participate in fun and educational activities on campus as collaborate with local youth coalitions and agencies on environmental prevention projects. Based in service learning to help students focuses on issues related to Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD) in our community, and helps to plan and implement school-based campaigns such as Red Ribbon Week and Committed.
