Program Description

This course focuses on library management and technology literacy. Library management encompasses book ordering, circulation, book promotion, locating information, being helpful and courteous.  Technology literacy includes collaborating within google drive, creating with web 2.0 and web 3.0 tools, assisting with various computer and research needs.

 

WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN:

  • Obtain a higher appreciation for nonfiction and fictional works
  • Successfully work with others to benefit patrons
  • Help create a friendly welcoming environment
  • Help others locate digital and print information for school and pleasure
  • Create projects that demonstrate a personal understanding
  • Apply new knowledge to personal works in other classes

PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENT(S):

Teacher interview.
