Program Description

Project 36 was formed for students with an interest in robotics.  Every year, Vex Robotics creates a competition based on an engineering problem.  We compete in the Kern Robotics League against other local high schools.  North High took home the trophy as the 2019 League Champion.  We hope to build on that success next year.

YOU’LL BE INTERESTED IN THIS CLUB IF YOU….If you enjoy competition and robots, this is the club for you.  We are looking for hard working students that can work together as part of team to build and program the best robot.

EXPECTED COMMITMENT / MEETING FREQUENCY:  Building a competition robot takes time.  The new game is released at the end of April and we immediately start meeting to brainstorm ideas. Once students have decided on what they want to construct, we will schedule build days on select Saturday’s and at various times during the summer.  This gives students the chance to spend a few hours of uninterrupted build time.
